OMAHA, Neb.- Five different North Dakota players scored in seventh-ranked UND’s 5-2 win over No. 14 Nebraska Omaha on Saturday outdoors at TD Ameritrade Park.

Saturday’s game was delayed by two and one-half hours due to poor ice conditions earlier in the day, including during a USHL game at the ballpark involving the Omaha Lancers and the Lincoln Stars…The Mutual of Omaha-sponsored ‘Battles on Ice’ marked the first outdoor game in both UNO’s and UND’s hockey history…UND forward and Hobey Baker Award hopeful Corban Knight ended Saturday’s game with a goal (his 13th of the season) and an assist (his 27th)…UND forward Danny Kristo scored a late goal in Saturday’s game to go along with a tally he had in Friday’s 2-1 win over UNO across 10th Street at CenturyLink Center…Freshman UND goaltender Zane Gothberg made 29 saves Saturday, which was good enough to give him his – and his team’s – third win in a row…UND now sits alone in second place with 28 points, and two above both Minnesota and UNO…Saturday’s announced attendance at TD Ameritrade Park was 13,650.
