Welcome to Radio Free Omaha’s coverage of Saturday afternoon’s game between No. 14 Nebraska Omaha and No. 7 North Dakota, taking place outdoors at TD Ameritrade Park. Here, you will find line charts, scouting reports and more pertaining to the first-ever outdoor hockey game for both of these schools.

Scouting the Mavericks: UNO junior forward and Hobey Baker Award candidate Ryan Walters scored in the Mavericks’ 2-1 loss to North Dakota on Friday night. Walters now has scored points in 20 of his last 22 games, and leads the nation with 41 points so far this season…Junior forward Zahn Raubenheimer played Friday for the first time since returning from an injury that saw him miss UNO’s previous four games…Sophomore forward Josh Archibald has points in each of his last nine games, including an assist in the loss to UND on Friday…Form (last five results): W-W-W-OTL-L.

Scouting UND: Freshman forward Rocco Grimaldi and senior forward Danny Kristo provided UND’s two goals in its win over UNO on Friday night. Freshman goaltender Zane Gothberg stopped 33 of 34 shots for the win in his third straight game between the pipes for the Green and White…UND has killed 15 consecutive opposing teams’ power plays, and 24 of opponents’ last 26…UND senior forward and Hobey Baker candidate Corban Knight assisted on both of his team’s goals on Friday, and at 38 points for the season, he is close to becoming the team’s first player with three consecutive 40-point seasons since Ryan Duncan and T.J. Oshie both accomplished the feat between 2005-06 and 2007-08…Form: L-T-T-W-W.
