GAME NOTES:
North Dakota senior forward Danny Kristo picked up Friday’s game-winner and assisted on Rocco Grimaldi‘s first-period goal that tied the game at a goal apiece nine minutes in…Nebraska Omaha sophomore goaltender Dayn Belfour was a surprise inclusion in the Maverick starting lineup Friday. Belfour had seen zero playing time with UNO this season before Friday’s game, but he played very well against the school that produced his father, a legendary NHL goaltender in the form of Ed Belfour…UND brought by far the largest group of away fans to enter CenturyLink Center this weekend, with an estimted 4,000 fans of the Green and White at the game…Friday’s announced attendance was 9,487, a new high for the season.
