UNO doubles UMD up for Mavericks’ fourth win in a row

Nebraska Omaha forward Dominic Zombo netted two goals Sunday afternoon in a 6-3 win over No. 20 Minnesota Duluth, thus capping a four-point weekend for the sophomore.

UNO forward Dominic Zombo scored two goals Sunday to go along with the two assists he collected the night before in Saturday’s 3-2 win over UMD…Maverick senior goaltender John Faulkner has played in each of UNO’s last four games and has won them all. He is now 6-0-1 on the season…UNO’s power play had been anemic through much of the early going this season, but the Mavericks scored four goals this weekend while playing with the man advantage. UNO is now 7-for-40 on the power play this season.
