Nebraska Omaha’s top line of Brock Montpetit, Matt White and Ryan Walters shined brightest on Friday night, where UNO upended No. 17 Northern Michigan 5-2 at CenturyLink Center in Omaha.

GAME NOTES:
Nebraska Omaha wore special one-off sweaters at Friday night’s game. They will be sold in an auction as a fundraiser for the university…Northern Michigan started slow against the Mavericks, and the Wildcats certainly didn’t help themselves on the few occasions that they entered UNO’s zone in the first period. NMU finished the opening 20 minutes with just one shot on goal…Brock Montpetit was named the game’s first star, posting a goal and two assists. He now has one goal and five assists to his name after UNO’s openning three games of the new season…UNO and NMU meet again on Saturday evening in Omaha.
