Nebraska Omaha made quick work of Lethbridge on Monday, scoring three first-period goals and cruising the rest of the way to a 4-1 win at CenturyLink Center.

An estimated 2,000 fans filed into CenturyLink Center for Monday’s exhibition game. No official attendance figure was announced…All three of UNO’s goaltenders for this season saw action against Lethbridge, with John Faulkner, Dayn Belfour and Anthony Stolarz each playing for 20 minutes…Lethbridge finished its three-game tour of the United States outshot a combined 179-37. UL was shut out 7-0 at Minnesota on Saturday before dropping a 7-1 decision at Minnesota State on Sunday…UNO head coach Dean Blais opted to watch Monday’s game from the press box, leaving assistant coaches Steve Johnson and Troy Jutting to patrol the UNO bench…Maverick fan Mike Pfeifer also graced the UNo bench during Monday’s game. Pfeifer was a competition winner, winning the chance to be an honorary coach for the night through a fundraiser.
